Guinness
Raise a glass, take a picture
At a loud, crowded event, give people something they can join together without touching a screen.
99%glass detection
What we built
A computer vision photobooth that counts raised Guinness glasses. Every few raises trigger a celebration on screen, and guests scan a QR to save their photo.
The story
- The idea
People already raise their glasses together, so let the system react to that moment instead of asking guests to tap a screen.
- The model
Trained to recognise many glass shapes and sizes, partly covered by hands, at different fill levels and angles, accurate even in a packed bar.
- The mechanic
Each glass adds to the count. At every milestone a visual surprise plays: the more people join, the faster it comes. No app needed.
