What’s Included

01

Helmet, Vest & Glove Detection

Computer vision checks each person for the PPE required in that zone.

02

Danger-Zone Entry Checks

A check at the gate or line, before anyone steps into a high-risk area.

03

Real-Time Alerts

Supervisors get a notification with the snapshot the moment a violation happens.

04

Works with Existing CCTV

We use your cameras where the angle and quality allow, and add cameras where they don’t.

05

Safety Dashboard

Violations by site, zone, shift and time, so safety teams see patterns, not just incidents.

06

Contractor Compliance

Link PPE checks to contractor safety records, like the e-CSMS dashboard we built for Trakindo.

AI PPE Detection, Explained

What Is AI PPE Detection?

AI PPE detection uses computer vision on camera footage to check whether people are wearing the personal protective equipment their area requires, such as a helmet, safety vest, gloves or boots. It works in real time and alerts a supervisor when something is missing, instead of relying on spot checks.

Where It Is Used

  • Mining: checks before people enter pits, workshops and hauling areas.
  • Construction: site entrances and working-at-height zones.
  • Oil, gas and offshore: often together with personnel tracking, like the ATEX-certified BLE safety system in our offshore project.
  • Factories and warehouses: production lines and loading bays.

How It Works

Cameras watch a gate or zone. The model detects each person and the PPE they wear, compares it with the rules for that zone, and sends an alert with a snapshot if something is missing. Every event is logged, so safety teams can see trends by site, shift and contractor.

What Drives the Cost

The number of sites and cameras, whether existing CCTV can be used, the PPE types to detect, lighting and weather conditions, alert channels, and integration with your safety or contractor systems. We start with a pilot on one gate or zone.

Privacy and Safety Culture

The system checks equipment, not identity, unless you choose to link it to attendance. Workers should be told where cameras are and why, and Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP, Law No. 27 of 2022) applies to any footage you keep.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is AI PPE detection?

A computer vision system that checks camera footage in real time for the protective equipment people must wear in an area, such as helmets, vests and gloves, and alerts supervisors when something is missing.

Can it use our existing CCTV?

Often yes, if the camera angle, resolution and lighting are good enough. We check your cameras during the pilot and add cameras only where needed.

Which PPE can it detect?

Common items are helmets, safety vests, gloves, boots, masks and harnesses. We confirm the list for your site and test each item in real conditions.

Does it work at night or outdoors?

It can, with the right cameras and lighting. We test at the actual site, shift and weather before rollout.

What happens when a violation is detected?

The system logs it with a snapshot and can alert a supervisor by dashboard, WhatsApp or another channel you use.

Does it identify workers?

Not by default: it checks equipment, not identity. It can be linked to attendance if your policy allows it, with workers informed and data handled under the UU PDP.
