AI Skin Analyzers, Explained
What Is an AI Skin Analyzer?
An AI skin analyzer is a camera booth that reads the skin and gives a personal result in seconds: what the sun has done to it, how well sunscreen covers it, or which products suit it. At an event it turns product education into something people want to try, and queue for.
UV Camera vs Skin Analysis
- UV camera: shows ultraviolet light the eye can’t see, like sun damage or missed sunscreen. La Roche-Posay’s interactive UV camera drew 103k+ passers-by and ran 589 analyses.
- Skin analysis: reads tone, texture or concerns and maps them to products. It works best with a short guided flow and a clear recommendation.
- UV coverage mirror and game: CeraVe paired a UV mirror with a game steered by the body, so people learn to reapply sunscreen by playing.
What Drives the Cost
Camera type (standard or UV), how many booths and days, custom hardware or a standard kiosk, how the results map to your products, content and take-home format, the on-site crew, and the data you want at the end. We scope each one after a short call.
Consent and Data
A skin scan processes a face, which is personal data under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law. Visitors agree on screen first, we process on the device where possible, and we don’t keep face images longer than needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an AI skin analyzer?
A camera booth that reads the skin and gives a personal result in seconds, such as UV damage, sunscreen coverage or skin concerns, then recommends products.
Can it show sunscreen coverage?
Yes. A UV camera shows where sunscreen is and isn’t, which makes reapplying easy to understand, like CeraVe’s UV coverage mirror.
Is a skin analyzer a medical device?
No. At events it is product education, not a diagnosis. We word results that way and point to a professional for medical concerns.
How long does one analysis take?
We design most sessions to finish in under two minutes so the queue keeps moving.
Can it run in a store, not only at events?
Yes. It can run as a permanent unit in a store or pharmacy, with content updated from a dashboard.
